Has anyone tried this pedal? It's released in 2014 I think.

Better buy DS-2...cos it sounds far superior to the silly, noisy, cheesy and over rated DS1. That is why you always see tons of used DS1 for sale. People are getting rid of their DS1 by the bulk.

Got a friend tried before, his review was, this ds-1x is meatier, chunkier. Overall a different animal.
I on other hand, a fan of sd-1 |

i've tried it with a gibson @ sweelee in singapore. was choosing between that and a SD9 by ibanez.
weirdly it sounds very thin on the lespaul, a complete turnoff... but it was really meaty as ashportal said on fenders and the ibanez jem. makes nice chugging sound as well. (my fake mockingbird sounds rather close to a lespaul so i ended up going home with the SD9) |
