I agree that AKLEH is not designed with motorcycles in mind. Used to ride it once just to see how it looks like, and never returned.

MEX on the other hand is OK, plenty of space for both cars and motorcycles. However I suspect the operator is asking for ban because of mat rempits on both rempitbikes and big bikes are using it to race because it was mostly straights. I'm sure some of u guys have seenyoutube videos on some local superbike matrempit doing wheelies at mex?

Federal bike lane is bad, the corners are uneven and sometimes got potholes, when its raining the tunnel get flooded 100%

its not about income, its about safety. the highways were designed for cars only and is high risk for motorcyclists.

it is not an excuse to zig zag the entire 3 lane stretch
i seen many motorbikes avoid the motorlane because flood/etc but all ride smoothly on the left most lane

GCE and Federal got motorbike lane also many of them still wanna ride on the mainroad with cars.
Endangering their lives and other people around them.

why does the risk is diff for car n bike? in what sense? i mean if its an accident, both car n bike has the same risk exposure...

i am not sure about these highways but i can think of a few situations where it would be riskier for bikes than cars. i.e. narrow points for bridges, crosswind, obstructions, lighting at night, % of straight road to curved road, width of left lane for motorcycle, slope along the sides of the highway etc...

No need to ban all motorbike on federal then if not all are riding dangerously.

I'm a motorcyclist myself. Federal right now banyak area tutup for construction. So rather than Enter, Exit, Enter, Exit, Enter, Exit baik Exit and jalan sampai hujung.

But yeah some of those highway especially MEX agak dangerous for motorcycle so better improve the highway or ban.
