I am new to DSLR, my camera is 2 year old, and the battery is dead.
I was quoted RM280 for a new original battery E8, I checked on online stores, it's only RM80~, wonder if those are good enough?

It depend on your budget.
Original battery last longer and will not kill your camera. I have 3 pcs.original battery for my 600D I used to have phottix compatible but it won't last . |

go for shashinki.com.. i'm carrying 2nd battery phottix. It may not last as long as original but it is sufficient enough to last a walkaround day shooting during my travel

I just bought a viloso brand, as recommended by the shop keeper, so far so good. thanks for response guys!
