I'M THE TEAMKILLING F***TARD!!!
|
-snip- If you notice his Group, it now states "Senior Member". You automatically become a member of this group the moment you pass the 500 post mark.
This dude was an avid spammer throughout the forums, and somewhere along the way, the admins decided to reset his post count to 0 for it, thus resulting in him remaining as a Senior Member but with less than 500 posts.
Was that clear enough?

Don't misunderstand.. I am not talking about you.. Sorry.. I meant i saw someone in the forum.. Keeps crapping or posting useless post to increase post.. Example :- QUOTE(MR.A) Hi forummers. I about to purchase an item and i need opinion.. Is tis item good for it's price.. ? QUOTE(MR.B) Oh.. It's no good.. It drains battery fast.. QUOTE(MR.C) I have to agree with Mr.B .. It drains battery fast... In that case.. Mr.C rather don't post.. He is making the same statement as Mr.B .. Means he is crapping / posting just to increase post count.. Not one post only but a few posts i saw is like that from same person.. Kiljim, like that also can report?

keeping calm..

We regard the 'post count reset' as a very extreme measure which, we very seldom do. Even warnings for spamming is generally given very sparingly. But if you see a particular member who's been spamming incessantly, then by all means, report one of his posts and state so in the description.

@Amedion sometimes, it needs a few opinions or a few "yes" to ensure one productivity.
of course, when you want to purchase something and needs opinion/comments bout certain products, you'd want to listen few positive comments from others. it would be absurd to hear only one "yes" and others are not allowed to post "yes" cos it is considered as spamming?
from my point of view, Mr.C is not really spamming, he strengthens Mr.B's statement. if only there was Mr.D saying ... "yeah yeah drain so fast" then it is considered spamming. but if Mr.D comes up with "yeah yeah drain so fast + his own experience about the battery draining like water" then he'd not be considered as spamming.
btw, why would one care about this stuff? it is not your post counts that make you right? well, tell me who doesnt spam?

That is just my example .. It's not about opinion on productivity also.. Btw, not only one post is like that.. almost 70% of it is that way.. Agree, bla bla bla.. I strongly agree, bla bla bla.. Yes i know you agree.. Better don't post... Talk empty only.. Btw, if i were to post that way.. I think i got 2k+ posts already.. This post has been edited by Amedion: Oct 23 2006, 05:16 PM
