Broke out the Tubulars last night. They're not as uncomfortable as I was made to believe; the design of the sole means there's a sort of gap through the entire mid-section of the shoe, and it felt a little odd; like there was almost no support. Doesn't help that I'm a stocky guy.

Although I had it on for a couple of hours, I didn't really walk too much in them. But the upper on these are sockliner material so soft, breathable, and very comfy. Almost never need to propperly lace up as the shape holds by itself. Would not mind them in a different colourway, especially since these are relatively cheap.

I got mine a few days ago! Tubular Radials
I think they are pretty clean

I'm mulling over these grey tubulars vs the black ones

but both are out of stock for my size (UK10). I wear a 9.5 on my regular tubulars, and my doom. But heard the radials are abit narrow (I have weird and wide hobbit like feet) so I think I better get a 10
*
Yeah I rock a size 11uk, went true to size. The fit is just right, hardly any space.

So either get tts or size up

Hiya, need some advice here. I really like this Fred Perry shoe but I feel like the price is a bit too much (RM659), its almost marked up by RM 200 as it only retails of 75 pounds in the UK. I did consider buying it online but then it adds to the same price when shipping cost is included. So do you think it's worth the money?

Plus, any recommendations for similar shoe styles, preferably below RM500.00?

Is that the full name? Nike AJ4 White Cement Retro 4 "1989 OG"? Because of that swoosh on the heel tab? I mean its nice, but the materials used are very different from the OGs!
*
yeah the Nike Air on the back, and the extra black specklings everywhere, thats why its called an "OG" pair

but of course it cant beat the 1999 pair, in terms of quality.

however the 2016 WC4 beats the 2012 one in every way.

The~Joker bro, the original Air Jordan 4 first dropped in 1989, before it was retro'd in 1999. The retro lost the "Nike Air" and was replaced instead by the Jumpman, including several other minor changes.
*
lol bro, it got retro'd twice before 2016.

once in 1999 and once in 2012.

1999 pair had the nike air on the tab
2012 pair had the jumpman on the tab

When I was still buying, the only retros were the '99s. My mistake with the Jumpman; on other AJ4s, if I'm not mistaken, the Jumpman had already started to appear, even before the 2012 AJ4 white cements.

What I mean to say is; the 1999 are not OGs -- that belongs to the 1989. To find a DS full set is pretty difficult. I don't remember much details anymore, especially since I never bought too many pairs of jays, but did the '99s have the "Nike Air" orange tag?
*
yea im pretty sure the 99s have the nike air hang tag

I stopped buying sneakers sometime in 2007, and went cold turkey. But I have a couple of small sizes; thought of saving them for mini-mes in the future. I forgot how big Y and C sizes are, and mistakenly bought this. I should have gone for 4C and not 7Y!

Currently converse is on my top considerations? Do you think high top chuck taylors make ppl's legs look shorter? Coz my legs are consideref relatively short so i m afraid it might make me look even shorter?
*
Sort of, but only if you wear high tops with shorts.
wearing longer pants with high tops should be fine

but you can never go wrong with lows

Thanks for the advice guys..one more thing..do you guys think white shoes make your legs shorter because of the contrast? I am not intending to wear white sneakers with short pants though..probably with joggers or skinny jeans..i have narrowed down my choices to white vans old skool and white converse chuck taylors..which one u guys think look nicer? biggrin.gif

Okay thanks for the information. But why nobody mention about shoehoze.com? I've asked them and they says their shoes are original. There are a lot of shoes that are cheaper than any websites that I previously found. For example, this superstar

100000% fakes, i checked out their catalog for Air Jordans.

RM590 for Jordan 1 Retro Breds

RM599 for Jordan 4 White Cements (normal price 1.2k)

and most ridiculous of all- Jordan 5 Supremes for RM600 (Normal prices are within RM2000+)

and also Yeezy Boosts for RM399. doh.gif

Do not purchase if u are looking for authentics
