Yeah, but due to few concerns such as how Fitch is now considerig a "downgrade", and for the time being Moody's maintained our credit rating.

The only way for us to go up is if Crude Oil Futures rises, which happened overnight. 1720 is just right on the corner as far the market is concerned. A mild rebound today after few days of more than half a percent falls as shown yesterday is definitely welcomed.

Is it me or is there an explanation why some counters have a funny bid and ask order? Like a 500 or 5,000 lot magically appears out of nowhere.

It is like for example, people have cleared the RM1.36 sell order and RM1.37 comes up with say 2500 lots. Later on, for unknown reasons, 5,000 lots appear out of nowhere. No one entered an order, nor transacted, it just appears. I am confused here and would like an explanation from it.

Could it be from investment bankers or their own people who try to stabilize a fair price? That movement always keep flipping for like every 2 seconds with no orders then disappears again...

I always see it on warrant stocks. I always think it could due to the rapid changes in the mother share/index but I also realize it can also happen in stocks like AirAsia and Genting.

Datasonic warrants are up at least 30%+

Denko is up by another 7.3% again, potential UMA query stock.

Price too high and not really quite active... Looks like SCNWOLF and DENKO is the trend now.

Yes, same counter, there will be a total cumulation on the brokerage fees. It will only be charged once which will depend on whether you will be charged with the 0.1% or the minimum brokerage fee depending on the number of lots purchased. Only different stocks/warrants will be charged separately.

Only on selected stocks you can short. Warrants and most of the small cap stocks cannot be shorted. See if the "Short Sell Indicator" is a Yes. Hope that helps.

You need a margin trading account to play. But even with short selling, it is not easy to play as well as it can go against your favour.

Our put and call warrants on companies is just not really effective compared with US options that I am currently paper trading with at the moment. It really just goes against the laws of the market and the so called Black Schmoles equation. Even the FBMKLCI put warrants were a flop today.

Only the China50 and Hang Seng call and put warrants are effective. Those are legit leveraged warrants.

Yeah it does happen all occasionally on the warrants especially that mysterious 500,000 shares appearance on the best bids and asks. I still hope Macquarie and other IBs could expand the selection of index warrants. Maybe add in the DAX next.
