On second thoughts, maybe speculators have forgotten window dressing activities as half of this year is coming to end.

itu someone want to control the price...

I have noticed that. Out of the blues, the sellers disappear but no transaction done n volume did not increase or decrease. They just withdraw their bids. And the price move up.

The Edge Financial Daily is no longer available for download online. I received an email from The Edge this morning. No doubt their website The Edge Markets are still functioning. These are two different products.

why so serious. I'm guessing only for now.

but it would happen one day  icon_rolleyes.gif

Not serious lah. But it does make some sense. AK has aged considerably. His son is a monk. He has no successor. He may as well sell it. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

If u bother to look at the charts, Maxis is a better position than Digi even before today's rocket-like climb. Who knows tomorrow maybe Digi's turn. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

RHB is indeed planning to migrate all clients including those using OSK platform to its new platform next year. In short, RHB will only have one platform next year.

Jupiter Securities provided a weekly chart of KLCI showing a head n shoulders pattern with the ultimate target of 1440. The next support level is 1600 for now. Frightening?

In 1998, at least, palm oil was our saviour. Later, the electronic sector helped to pull us up. But this round, I do not see any saviour. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif
Who is our saviour this round?

But it doesn't match what CPO price is showing.

If demand for palm oil export rise so dramatically, we should see high demand in CPO market rise, which should be translate into higher CPO price, which is not the case here.
Instead CPO is hovering at RM 2000 level, despite RM value has plunged more than 10% over a month time or so.

Also, the data show CPO stockpile is building up and staying at elevated level.

So I wonder how the surveyors doing the survey and comparison.
May be July less working day, people off, so Aug data look impressive.  laugh.gif

Things would just come and go including the bad times......

Majority of thinking and saying to buy eventually might end up buying nothing......

If stock crashes and going into PN 17...u think it is  cheap to buy ...?

It is cheap with problems too........to what degree U can accept with an open arm ?

I agree. When I bought in Sept 1988, I confided in my closest colleague but he is too scared and ended up buying nothing. Later when stocks started to rise, he bemoaned the loss of a great opportunity.
