i am using Utorrent trying to download some file from demonoid, there is something wrong with the DHT status, here is the screenshot, can anyone tell me wats wrong?

user posted image

usually when i using public tracker, the DHT status is working, how can i enable the DHT status when using a private tracker?
*
for private tracker, it's based on their policy whether or not to allow DHT...

utorrent's giving me damn weird problems.
I can't download from anything which has large peer and seed counts. And I can only download when I direct the downloads to the default downloads folder. Else it won't even budge.

Weird problems face, I always.

it's really weird indeed... blink.gif
ever tried uninstall and make a fresh install?
(del the settings files here also: C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Application Data\utorrent)

*
the default of max tcp half open for utorrent is only 8 (u can change it at the Advanced, the section with the "warning", look for net.max_halfopen)

when i using downloading file
i always notice that in the peer list, the uTorrent user didnt have listening port
after the ip, the number is 'zero'
can explain why???
juz becoz they didnt know need to make listening port??

but i notice that, even they dun have any listening port
they also can download with normal speed
but i cant receive upload from them...

not sure wat is the real cause of tat though, but some bitcomet user that I connected to also showing port 0 blink.gif

in utorrent window there is no list of the listening port, only the host or ip...

I try download Death Note movie wif utorrent.
The speed is juz around 5 ~ 10 kbps.
Anyway to speed it up?
If I slow down the upload speed, will it increase the download speed?
*
for 512kbps package u can try limit the upload speed to 16~20K, while for 1Mbps doubled the value
