Streamyx capped torrenting to new lows again after their "system upgrade" a couple of weeks ago.

Try 1.8.3 and enable uTP.
If not, 1.9 alpha.

Not when you're running under uTP being enabled.
At the mean time, the ISPs in Malaysia hasn't found a way to counter uTP yet.

Yeap, the idea for uTorrent is: "the more you share, the more you get" sort of thing.

Well no offense, you're stupid if you follow any of the youtube guides.

The simple biggest difference is that we just don't have the luxury to do those sort of settings here compared to any where else in the world.

Some like I said just won't apply here with our connections.
Many just don't make sense like copperwire said.

Just make sure you port-forward and set meaninful settings and you're done to get atleast 80kb-130kb/s (assuming you're on 1mb streamyx) download speed.
Of course it'll depend on the torrent having seeds, a working tracker and not just a horde of leechers.
