Rapidshare are useful for leechers, uTorrent is for people who like to share.

What is the proper way of shutting down to avoid utorrent to check the files again?

What is the unproper way then?

Stop all active torrents. Exit program

Opposite of the above. Exit without stopping.

I just use File > Exit. Let it cool down about 5min before actually shutting the PC as there are still uploads/downloads happening after you exit uTorrent.

Another question. After the download start, I delete the torrent file. So, how to create back the torrent file like bitcomet?

Another question, how to select back only certain file to download 1st, then only I download the rest later on?

Welcome to the Torrent Port Checker.
A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.

Checking port 58747 on 60.53.231.229...

Error! Port 58747 does not appear to be open.

Please see www.portforward.com for more information about how to map a port.

Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5).

Done port forward yet still appear not to be open. Why?

Under the Files tab, highlight the files you dont want to download, right click - Dont download.

Hope it helped >.<

Do you mean port for uTorrent? You want to block it?

If you mean that, I think you have to check what port is used by uTorrent (Changeable) or just block all connection made by uTorrent.
Anyway why would you want to block uTorrent?

You're the one who controlling the router? Try to check his uTorrent port and block it lor. Or if it's possible(I not sure, never use router so I lazy go read stuffs about router) to block the whole uTorrent program? By that way your housemate won't have problems anymore.

i've heard that some trackers ban uTorrent for download
and yes i get the problem now and then
also in the US, the MPAA is tracking the IP addresses of the downloaders
they're talking about it here
but im sure they dont track ip of people outside the US
i donno if this also applies to latest 1.7.2 version
my only concern is more and more trackers are blocking uTorrent
i love uTorrent and dont wanna go back using BitComet again...
anyone knows anything about this matter?
