µTorrent 1.7.1 released

1.7.1 stable is finally here, after months of development.

The biggest changes were full Vista support and the removal of the 65,536 piece limit for torrents.
Also added was support for finding local peers (peers on the same LAN) and optionally not having any upload restrictions for them.
It is also possible to turn on automatic updating for betas now, found in the "Other" section of the preferences.

Read the changelog for more!

QUOTE
--- 2007-07-13: Version 1.7.1 (build 3360)
- Fix: Invalid download amounts being reported to trackers for >4GB torrents

--- 2007-07-13: Version 1.7 (build 3351)
- Fix: Determination of which peers are local on Windows 98 (and possibly other 95 varieties)

--- 2007-07-12: Version 1.7 (build 3341)
- Change: use cached scrape stats if scrapes fail (up to 24 hours)
- Change: "When µTorrent has reached the seeding goal" -> "When µTorrent Reaches Seeding Goal" in Queue preferences to make capitalization consistant
- Change: Implement auto-resizing when header a divider in the addtorrent dialog treeview is double-clicked
- Change: Rework accelerator keys of toplevel menus in the download list right-click menu so that there are no duplicate accelerator keys
- Change: Use 48x48 icon
- Fix: crashes with addtorrent dialog treeview with torrents with a very large number of files in the same folder (100+)

'Proxomitron' will do for uTorrent. To bypass User Agent.

On the side note, I think that uTorrent's speed is very slow. Even though it can bypass User Agent with proxomiltron, but the speed loses out to BitComet..

Proxomitron will do the job as well.. smile.gif
U can see from the log here(attached image)..

Proxomitron filter "disable"
"++Get 10+++"
user agent was utorrent/1600 and i get disconnect from tracker..

after that i enable Proxomitron filter and updating the tracker in utorrent..
"++Get 11++".. user agent changed and utorrent get a response from tracker..

1) after download Proxomitron, extract and run proxomitron.exe(the green icon).. If any pop-up come out from your firewall just allow it..
2) In Proxomitron main window, "Edit Filter" section, click "Headers", then a "HTTP Header Filters" window will come out..
3) In "HTTP Header Filters" window, scroll down and you will find there is 6 user-agent option.. Choose  any one of them by ticking at "OUT" section and then click "Apply", "Ok"..
4) Configure your BT client to use this proxy..
5) Launch Proxomitron log windows and then start your torrent task to see if it works..

Proxomitron was using port 8080 on default so if u're behind a router, forward port 8080..

Proxomiltron isn't for bypassing throttle. We can only bypass User-Agent-blocking.. no way to bypass throttle. Unless you go for VPN services.

If I'm not mistaken, it refers to the 'peers' total download speed.

quoted for truth
although it's still slow, at least speed in bitcomet is better than µTorrent

point the .torrent file to the new directory(where your halfway downloaded) torrent file located. (do it like normal download)
Do it 1 by 1 (if you have a lot of files) as it will do the file checking, and after it done, your current(halfway) file will ready to go
