QUOTE(hteekay @ Sep 4 2015, 01:15 PM) To get better experience (less useless bloatwares and OTA update from official Lenovo ) on the phone flash it to India Row ROM 1st if the seller haven't done it yet. And important to update to S121 version (if the Row ROM you get is the S117 version) because S117 version has couple of nasty bugs. I have installed custom recovery and flash AOSP 5.1. So far im liking it. Smooth and great battery life. From 48% i get 2.5 hours screen time. This AP phone need a bit of DIY work before using. QUOTE(naxster921 @ Sep 5 2015, 02:57 AM) Hello guys, i just got my phone. It has full of malwares and chinese apps all over it. Just follow the steps from the guy tutorial. I managed to that in one try. When i bought this phone it had KingRoot installed in it. Since i have no idea how to flash it, i wanted to follow RootJunky's tutorial on youtube. The problem is that he installed SuperSU. Can i follow his tutorial and have both KingRoot and SuperSU on the phone? Also which rom is best in your opinion? I've seen like 10+ of them and i have no idea which one to choose. Currently im using AOSP 5.1. Its a great rom. If you want to flash a new rom, just download keep in SD card and flash from your recovery mode. |

QUOTE(sitescope @ Sep 6 2015, 01:53 PM) AOSP still dun have led notification for wasap ? After you mentioned only notice all the flaws. HahaOr xancin aldy fixed it ? No diff between cwm n twrp Except twrp is touch screen while cwm need to use vol button Noticeably, bluetooth is not working, camera is limited to few modes only and gestures not working. |

QUOTE(hteekay @ Sep 12 2015, 09:08 PM) Ah dayum.... Kinda make me wish I get 720P screen instead or underclock the processor just to get better battery life ahahaha. Oh well, wish Zerolemon could make high capacity battery for this phone but it's highly unlikely since it's not mainstream phone My wife's phone reach 5hrs sot currently running on limonchelo 5.0. Last time running on aosp 5.1 could reach 5.5hrs sot.QUOTE(ygzdwdza @ Sep 12 2015, 10:47 PM) I think need to install 3rd party launcher. Try nova launcher and set the home buttons yourself. |

I'm currently on K50a40_S114_150618_ROW. I have tried 4 times to install the custom recovery but failed. Any ideas why is it? Still stuck with Lenovo recovery.
