Hi bro @mulut99 , when I connect phone to PC it keep fail to install MT65xx preloader driver. I plug and unplug USB many times, just before I give up, suddenly it's work. Finally I can flash to ROW. Now on s117. Thanks for the helps.

Omg, you still using XP. At least running Windows 7/8.1 now a days. Computer drivers and mobile drivers etc are much easier to solve/search.

Okay guys, I really need someone's help to flash my k3 note with the india ROW as I've tried everything and I can't seem to do it myself. Maybe it's because I only have an old netbook windows 7

Can anyone in the area of Kelana Jaya or KL help me do this? I'll belanja la mkn or willing to pay a fee to do it. Pls pls help.

hi all....
after playing with setting, disable and enable few apps, now i cannot sent sms anymore. the sms stuck at " sending...". anyone knows how to solve? one more, how and where can i get and install lenovo calendar? i prefer lenovo calendar than google calendar... any idea anyone? TIA...

After almost a month using this phone, i've been thinking to sell it lah.

Phone battery life so short..and too easily get hot, sometimes stuttering as well during browsing /k. I'm using mozilla firefox btw.

And sometimes even stuttering at home screen too. Adoi.

Mine not hot... Browser also ok coz using CM & Baidu browser

Enable back all apps & try... If ok then u must disable sms engine...

I'm using mozilla cuz this browser got ads blocker browser add on. So i can surf /k smoothly without had to accidentally clicked on the apps.

Nova launcher? Need to flash rom or just download from google play?

And i noticed that when i cleared up my RAM, there is still only less than 1gb of ram freed. This means system apps or used so much memory is it?

U using 4G to surf net, right? It is normal cause the phone is trying to get the best coverage especialy on low 4G area. Battery life....for me, i can use for 1.5 to 2 days. SOT 3.5 hour + gaming. Much much better than my Note 3 but cannot beat my previous Redmi Note .

I m using UC browser....no issue, no overheating when net browsing.
Is it normal for an android device which uses bout 1GB for OS. My previous Xiaomi Redmi Note also with 2GB ram also same......left bout 800-900MB free ram. I already mention many times here....this phone wont out of memory or wont lag when ram is low....i use till 200MB ram free....no lagging. I know this lollipop uses a lot if juice, if u know how to maintain it....should be no problem. My Note 3 also running with lollipop.....no issue on ram also.

This phone will get hot when i play game for more than 30 min...it is normal also. All middle end and high end phone will get hot when heavy use. It wont explode dont worry.

Because my previous mi2s, after clearing all of apps in my RAm, there is still left 1.2gb or 1.3gb in my RAM space for my apps. Which means my system in xiaomi mi2s use less resources hence had more free RAM for my apps to run.

About heating issues, it is understandable la since we are talking octa core phone here. But then surf internet pun dah start heating up.....then battery issue lagi, takkan every 4-5 hours have to charge, in which i had to wait until 2 hrs to get it fully charged. Tak efficient lah macam tu.

Mi2s is entry level phone....sure battery is good. OS lighter than a middle end phone....sure will not uses a lot of ram. Like my Note3....when staring..ram usage is bout 1.1gb....after a few hours it use up to 1.8-2gb ram. My previous Redmi Note also same....starting ram usage less than 1gb (bout 900MB) and after a few hours ram usage will go more than 1gb.
Is the OS and apps which uses the ram. More function on your phone more ram usage.
Means phone with more features/funtions......uses more ram.
U can use 4-5 hours [SOT] consider very good already. Mine 3+ hours only including gaming. I got 2 extra battery here.....so i no need to worry about battery issue

I suspect battery life no good on this phone when using 4G on low 4G coverage area, 1 my friend also complaining battery issue for this phone....he is using maxis 4G. He travel here and there sure battery heavy cause the phone is trying to get a better 4G coverage and it is same with other 4G phones.
My note 3 more worst when using 4G on low 4G coverage area, 12 hours standby...low battery already . So i locked it back to 3G....no issue.

Full 4G coverage area....battery good
No 4G coverage area....battery also good
Weak 4G coverage area.....battery is scary. Keep auto swiching 3G to 4G then 3G than 4G....so on....all 4G phones sure eat a lot of juice.

5.0.1 still got memory leak issue, 5.1.0 will solve it...

if battery life is an issue just buy extra battery with external charger.

when battery runs out just swap the battery with the spare battery and you can use the phone without connecting it to the charger while simltaneously charging the swapped out battery using the external charger.

you can buy from aliexpress. it's safe and delivery is relatively short considering it is shipped directly from China (mine arrived after about 2-3 weeks)
