this OTA should download at phone right? can i download the india rom at my sd card. then using this lenovoOTA3.5 to run the india rom?

Yup, is the rom problem. After updated to india rom....charging is faster.

india rom got google play?youtube and dolby atmos? is official?can use lenovoOTA3.5 to flash it?

Yup, india rom comes with gapps and dolby atmos. U can see my screenshot last few pages.
I think cannot flash using lenovoOTA. It will download China rom.


After updating my K3N to S117 rom....setting nothing different.
Got apps preinstall like facebook, skype, aphalt 8 , Evernote etc......but it can be uninstall. I uninstalled the apps which i dont need it.

i had do research. but still not understand. feel complicated...

how long have u had it? any auto updates from that version so that it could upgrade?

or we still have to flash (actually not sure how to do haha) ourselves to upgrade rom and get those functions to work?

i just received it at 15th july, i bought from lazada. seller was idsmartphone. u need to upgrade rom by urself. after i upgrade to rom1524. become no google play, youtube.. damm regret now

There are 2 official rom

1. For china market (phone model number k50-50t), they use vibeui rom, numbered as 15xx, with ST (stable) and DEV (development) version. May include some chinese app, and may not have google apps installed (due to china regulatory)

2. For india market (phone model number k50-a40), they use ROW (rest of the world) rom, numbered as s112, s114 and latest s117. ROW rom have google app (a lot) and does not have chinese app.

I suggest for you to use ROW rom and it compatible with k50-50t. Check for post several page back on how to flash ROW rom (version s112) using spftool. You can update to s114 then to s117 via software update setting.

mine one the vol is also very super low. especially alarm sound. dunno why....

just realized there is no headphone provided from the box. only got charger. haiyaa

Flash different ROM. The latest one is 1524. MaxxAudio is included which makes the level of the sound customizable.

Rom1524 don't have google play.but sound vol better then 1512

Just install twrp recovery n flash gapps n you will have back these google play store n other google stuffs

Bukan perasaan.....it is smoother than b4. Battery slightly improved. What i dont like is got preinstall apps. I uninstall it.
