Sorry my Chinese not that good.

Mine phone is currently:

Model number
Lenovo K52e78

Android version
5.1

Build number
VIBEUI_V3.0_1615_5.518.1_ST_K52E78

---

So that means I have to flash to
A7020a48_S125_160419_ROW first

Then flash to
A7020a48_S259_160721_ROW

Am I correct?

Go direct to flash S259 if you want android 6.0, ignore S125

I finally met up with cvg in person and he helped me to flash my K5N to Marshmallow... no more China ROM... yayy! Took around 1+ hour.

A nice gentleman... u guys should look for him. A real expert.  notworthy.gif

Personally I feel that the K5N is the best smartphone for the price. Not sure why it is not getting the attention it deserves. K6N has been announced so one can expect K5N price to drop further.

It's a pity that Lenovo M'sia is only pushing it's old models here and not the latest ones. But u can still buy China AP sets and look for experts like cvg.  rclxms.gif

Hi peet, nice meeting you! my pleasure to flash your device.

I can't agree more that the K5 Note is the best 3/32GB smartphone for around RM600, its fast and stable, never i experience once app crash or hang during my 2 weeks of use, multitasking performance is also good. Device doesn't heat up and battery life is good. thumbsup.gif Better than Redmi Note 3 in my personal opinion (which has a lots of bugs and issue).

Unfortunately K5 note is a bit complicated to flash unlike the K3 Note which is quite straightforward. Many people facing the issue of missing mobile network connectivity & getting "NVRAM WARNING: Err=0x10" error after flashing. (Due to wiping of the IMEI & WiFi MAC address)

For your information, K5 Note support VoLTE after OTA system update to S312 smile.gif

Yup... Played with it a while back...like it much...

Above average screen & camera...smooth UI/performance...i too prefer this to RN3... A lot of bias when it comes to MTK vs Snapdragon nowadays...

Front speakers like k4 note & ir blaster like x3 will make this perfect...

I am not a fans of any specific CPU but do believed that SD is better until i see the reviews of the K5 Note.

Though having a relative lower score for benchmark, different reviewers have discovered that the MTK P10 is actually perform better than the SD 625 (LeEco Le2) counterpart blink.gif

Whats more to say hmm.gif

Finally found a step by step tutorial on flashing K5 Note. Sick with china ROM. Virus page 100% come pop out everytime i open chrome.
By the way, is it advisable for a newbie to flash this phone by myself? Never tried before. Afraid screw up the phone.  sweat.gif

Haha, you can try if you have a win 7 computer. Else if you are in KL/PJ area, you may consider send to me for flashing for a small fee smile.gif

My k3n speaker start showing a prob after 20mths usage
Sometimes loud sometimes low
Still thinking k5n (rm600) or vibe p1 (rm500)
Advantage of p1 is 5k mah battery

Go for K5 Note, P1 is old model and power hunger.

K5 Note excelled in all aspect, more powerful cpu & gpu but energy saving plus a super stable and fluid UI + very useful finger print detection.

P1 has only 2GB RAM. SD 615 chipset in no way come close to the MTK P10, not even SD 652.

K5 Note is the best 3/32GB phone for under RM600.

At G5 less than 500 can get if you have alliance bank card.

Anyone in MY ever tried 64GB SD with K3 note. I read somewhere this can be done. Any issues?? Please advise.
*
Hi bro, no problem to use 64GB SD card. When the new card is detected, system will prompt you to format card as "external storage " or "device storage". If you choose the later, then system will combine the capacity of the SD with the phone storage capacity, thus you get a very large "Device storage capacity" (about 74 GB)

Personally i recommend the Toshiba exceria (U3) or Samsung Evo plus (U1)

Mind to benchmark the read/write speed of the SD Card that you format the SD Card as device storage? I wonder how does it effect day to day usage.
*
Please suggest an app to test. Day to day use has no problem at all, the Toshiba exceria is a reliable and fast card.
