Not many people like the K4 note front facing speakers

Hmmm... Main usage is for hotspot + gps, that's why need bigger battery. Cpu n ram not so important.
I've other primary hp for daily use.

Also dun have alliance card too...

hi everyone,just bought a new k3 note , everything seems good, except few things such as

1. battery life drain very fast even dun use much..
2. very slow charging(charge at night, wake up morning still hasnt full yet)
3. unable to use touch focus while recording video mode. (and the autofocus pretty much slow also)

Hopefully this is something related to the ROM pre installed by the dealer which is s422_160315_ROW. Would be glad for any suggestion if there are actually better ROM even an older ROM i dun care, as long as it can fix all issues mentioned. Thanks.

I just checked with ampere app, turned out using a 3rd party charger just gave me 500mA hence the slow charging, while using the lenovo ori charger give me 1700ma. seems the usb pin connection is different which somehow makes the 3rd party charger(with 2.1A 5V spec) was simply seen as a usb port by the phone.

1. flash custom rom , dload from needrom.com
2. use ori charger
3. flash custom rom , dload from needrom.com

does anyone knows if the K4 note support micros sd card ,SDXC 64gb with exfat format or does it only support the fat32 format and also how is the charging time from say 10% to full .thanks

Thinking of upgrading from note3 to note5.

I quite sick of this k3 which is rather laggy when typing or browsing. Always have to off screen and on back to refresh (ramissue maybe). Even Facebook app also cannot work. Can hang.

These issues happen whether stock ROM or custom.

Any k5 users met such issue? If not I will buy.

My k3n is running on ghost rom now, no lag at all...

OK I will try mod the k3 with ur suggestions after I buy the new k5.

I didn't try changing custom ROM again cos quite a hassle to trial and error which is troublesome.
Usually I don't root. But I moddfed k3 cos the stock is so sucky.
Didn't expect Lenovo QC so bad now.
My previous 1gb ram a850 didn't have such problems before.

You may try install latest vibe ui rom..VDT 1631 .so smooth and no lag..but ur phone must be root.

Purchased a K5 note from gemfive but received a lemon unit that drain battery from 100 to 0 within 1 hour of NOT USING.

Now have to wait for customer service email reply during weekday.
zzzzzz.

Hi All, I am still running on a old out of the box ROM for my k3 bought from China. Can someone advise me:
1. Where to go to flash my ROM with the latest?
A. Instructions and ROM to choose
B. If I go to a mobile phone shop to ask the to flush for me any recommendation?
2. Would moving to noughat slow the system?

Please advise.
