Hi guys, I had went for an interview last month and applied to the position business development manager in business banking department. Anyone applied for this position before? Or anyone here is in this position? Normally how long Maybank takes to come back to you if you are being hired? It has been 2 weeks plus since I went for the interview. No reply yet so far. Heard my friend say they take very long one? Is it true?

Dont put high expectation on this..My wife been through this interview since March until now, no response from them. They expect you to work as a team and depends on your luck.

I see... Was waiting for their reply because the interview went well and the person interviewed me even asked me whether how long do I need to serve for my current job and ask me is it ok if they were to buy me over.

with the interviewer asking you about serving period and if its ok if they buy you over doesnt mean u get the job.. i experienced the same thing with standard chartered bank (IT position).. interview went well as well and the interviewer ask me exactly same question and i thought high possibility of getting position and was highly hoping for it end up no news either.. not to pour cold water on you but do look around for other options too..
