I would recommend learning at home first tho but thats just me

as for me, i just bought a learning guitar book for beginner. but that was back 2003.

as for today, youtube is the answer.

as both the forummers above. my pov, guitar is super easy to pick up on but incredibly hard to master, get a beginners guide or youtube and learn some basic chords and scales before getting a teachers to learn more complex techniques such as fingerstyle
