Scheduled for a release sometime in 2007, "It's a Wonderful World" (AKA, "Subarashiki Kono Sekai") tells of 15 year old Neku Sakuraba who notices something odd about himself one day during his everyday life in Shibuya. He comes into contact with an organisation known as "The Shinigami (God of Death)" who threatens to kill him if he fails to carry out what he is told. In this demonic game, Neku is not alone for Shiki Misaki and a few other kids in Shibuya are also in the same situation and they only have 7 days to fulfil their mission...

Here are some new images of Square Enix's original NDS RPG Subarashiki Kono Sekai: It's a Wonderful World, developed by the Kingdom Hearts team. The game will have a stylus driven interface, you move the character by dragging the character, and in battles you slide the stylus and tap on the enemies to attack.

You can also control characters in the upper screen with the direction pad, for battles on the upper screen, you enter a series of Dance Dance Revolution like direction commands to attack the enemies.

The story is about the a boy named Neck, who learned that he only has 7 days to live, and given mystical power by the God of Death. He will use his power to battle the monsters appearing in the city of Tokyo to find ways to save his life.

It's a Wonderful World (すばらしきこのせかい, Subarashiki Kono Sekai?) is an RPG being developed by the Kingdom Hearts team and Tetsuya Nomura of Square Enix for the Nintendo DS video game console. It's a Wonderful World takes place in modern Japan in Tokyo's Shibuya district. Players assume the role of Neku, a young empathic boy. Neku meets a young girl named Shiki and both are forced to play the mysterious "Death's Game" by the Shinigami Corp and must win it within the seven-day time limit or else be negated from existence. Neku's empathic abilities are essential to gather the clues needed, but also to detect the Noise, monsters that dwell inside a person's thoughts and are a hindrance to the heroes. Character designs are handled by Tetsuya Nomura who brings his distinctive art style to the game.
