Hi All,

Would like to ask how do you all mount your modems on a wall without using drill/nails.

I tried using acrylic tape, which works for a while but it started to lose it's grip after 2-3 days.

Any other suggestions?

You got the right idea. But i am very sure you bought those cap ayam brand tape. You should have brought this brand.

I swear by this product. I used it to mount 4 gang electrical socket to wall, modem, router, framed mirror, cable holders and even my aunts car exterior visor that peeled off. All of them have last from 1 to 3 years already. I bought the slim roll so i could work with tighter spots without too much size cutting.

With a slight damp cloth wipe the wall clean. Wait for about 10 minutes for it to dry. Then stick the tape to modem/ router first. Use 2-3 layers so the modem will "float" off the wall for ventilation. You need to stick first layer, peel the back then stick again, peel and stick another final layer. Then place correctly and mount. A little warning. Once you stick on and leave it there if there are any issues like repairs, when you take the modem/ router off, the paint will probably peel. Or the sticker will leave residue. Not serious case compared to drilling holes with hook. You can just sand it off before painting.
