i had problem here i have the ati x700 graphic and 7900gs (not used it at the same time) , i found out that i cant set higher than 1024*768 on the battlefield 2142 but i can set it 1280*1024 on battlefield 2. By the way i'm using a 17" lcd not way that my lcd cant support that..

did anyone have this problem...??

I use 1280x960 for my 19" LCD with default 1280x1024 reso.

1600x1200 here without any problems. Try checking your graphics drivers since they're usually the source of the problem. Other issues include VSYNC and refresh rates (use the LCD native of 60)

yup, im on 1280X1024 before, but it was laggy in 2142, so i brought it down to 1024X768.

EA didnt put 1280x1024 reso in 2142 engine because it has advantage than lower reso.(probably some lazy programer from EA...)

DID anyone found Unstable when playing the 2142????

your 17" lcd native resolution is 1024x768 la.

17" LCD native solution is 1280 x 1024 la.

i see, cause one of my older one is 1024x728.

change the shortcut similar to this...then you can play 1280x1024 reso...

Note the addition of the +szx and +szy commands which respectively set the width and height of the custom resolution to be used. Substitute other values for other resolutions (e.g. +szx 1900 +szy 1200).
