QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ May 10 2015, 11:06 PM) I prefer this over Hrv mainly due to the extra emergency 2 seats. It come in handy when balik kampung and fetch parents. My kids can halau to the back seat. Haha. If space is not my concern, I will take crv over hrv anytime. as a current old xtrail user, i am also keen on the hrv. good to have a small suv for town use. but of coz cx5 is way much better. but dont need a bigger suv too. how long is the waiting list for hrv now? |

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Jun 5 2015, 10:48 AM) Checked out in penang. Only 4k rebate wt free leather seat. If 7k rebate, i would have booked it on the spot. 2 airbags is really disappointing but comparing with cx-5, i am still more keen on the xtrail. Teana is my first choice but wife cant drive it. I have the new sylphy which is underpowered but suitable for ladies so I am not bothered bce i dont drive it often . But it comes wt 6 airbags too which is great comparing to altis. On standby mode. See the best offer. Maybe we can group buy. |

QUOTE(ch_kee83 @ Jun 6 2015, 11:49 PM) Manage to contact 2 s.a in kl for the price. Standard rebate 4k..1k extra from one of the s.a for so call agong bday promotion. So price around 137k for 2.0.. Only given free leather seat right?Didn't go for in depth nego as I worry might offend the potential s.a if I were to buy from him. Did mentioned that 7k rebate was being offered as I saw from Bro Unseen83 reply here. The s.a said high rebate is just a number deception. It might take out the insurance of 4k so that 8-9k rebate can be offered. How true is that??sigh.. What about the 8' multimedia navigation? |

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Jun 7 2015, 09:04 AM) The navigator even I ask for discount also they dun let. Rm3,800 is expensive. I think would go for aftermarket but dunno need to change dashboard panel or not as the existing one only 5". The 5' one same as the sylphy? Regretted not upgrading my sylphy one too... haizzz so much 2 consider... |

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Jun 7 2015, 01:55 PM) I think should be the same. Elsewhere is the world get Nissan Connect which we can use to sync with Apple phone and download apps. Here we get ntg there it goesgot to know the best offer is rm5k rebate with free 8" navigator and leather seats. (from kl side) so should i say by bye to cx-5 n proceed with this? or just go ahead with the cx-5 2.5 facelift? looks like i will have to get it from kl instead penang. QUOTE(small-jeff @ Jun 8 2015, 12:51 AM) Just got my 2.5 yesterday - booked on 23/05, super efficient SA omg... how underpower is the 2.0? full load? or only 2 in the car? Some thoughts on the 2.5: 1. The audio is pretty bad for a car at this price; or perhaps i'm comparing with the Kia(s) i have 2. When turn on ECO mode, the best FC i got was 6.9litre/100km - from Puchong to KL and vice-versa, via MEX 3. ECO mode really drives like turtle. need to press hard to make it to 110km/h 4. Kind of powerful, 80-140km/h with a breeze 5. Tried the voice command thing, doesnt really work too well. need to test more. 6. Was reading through the manual, i think a lot of applications are missing 7. Suspension not the best in town (i guess), kinda bumpy/noisy I had a test drive on the 2.0 too, really feels kind of under power. Once i sat on the 2.5, loved the feeling and power So guys, any idea if TC can change a better audio system for XTrail? I think changing outside would void the warranty ya |

QUOTE(OPT @ Jun 9 2015, 12:46 PM) Great reviews everyone. well done... good choice... crv is kicked out first round for me I just booked mine. Yeah, the 3 yr free maintenance and service package was more worth it but now no more. I had to get a SUV, so it's either CRV/CX5 or XTrail. HRV/ASX a bit cramp for a family guy like me. Family doesn't like the too straight and no back aircond vent of the CX5 so no go. CRV was the preferred option and almost booked it but somehow got itchy and test drove XTrail - love it very much. Got the family to test drive together and the consensus was it's good too. So, XTrail it is for me being having more power pickup compared to CRV. Chose 2.0 as I don't usually floor the pedal and it feels just right for me - for you all prospectors please test drive yourself first, it's important. Shop around, normal rebate for 2.0 is free leather and 5k rebate in klang valley. Outside Klang Valley got better offer so placed my booking. Loan opted for unconventional flexi (similar to housing type). Now just wait for car delivery P/s: There was a survey on CRV/XTrail/CX5 on lowyat forum and I chose CRV..yeah, I was very close to buying one now either the Xtrail or cx5. But more towards the x-trail... will decide by a month max hopefully |

QUOTE(OPT @ Jun 9 2015, 02:27 PM) 5.0k rebate + free leather + free vkool tint/smart tag/carpet/door visor from JB and 5.5k rebate + free leather + free vkool tint/smart tag/carpet/door visor from Ktn. so its proven... more better deals out thereIf don't want the free leather additional 1k rebate (or is it 1.5k?) If don't want the tint another 1k additional rebate. Both side car can be arranged for pickup from KL. so what is the best i should propose to be offered ? 7k dc + free leather seat ok? i am not in a hurry so if i get the deal only will go ahead ... still can get cx5 anytime or wait wait for yr end offer |

just realised a very dissapointing thing.. the 2.0 xtrail does not come with led headlamps ...
"" 2.0-litre has conventional halogen reflector headlamps whilst the 2.5 has LED projectors. "" This post has been edited by nxtpg: Jun 9 2015, 10:17 PM |
