Here's my first stuff...
A dog that I find attractive

But, you might need to use the red eye reduction function to minimise the glowing eyes.

Various Photos I took in Kek Lok Tong, Ipoh

But, something does not feel right with this photo. For me, I would concentrate on the little hut/shelter, set it as the main subject, then have the hills as the background.

But, the single lotus does not stand out with the deep DOF. If you can get more than 3 lotuses in the frame, I believe it would be better. Otherwise, try to get closer and use shallower DOF.

But, I don't really know what's wrong, just that I wouldn't take it to the printers to print it out. A little too much distrating items in the photo, such as the fencing, and the red/white tower, leaves on the right foreground

But, the composition doesn't work for me.

But, it has the same problem with the lotus photo. Too much distracting items in the photos that draws my attention away from the bird.

This one I find particularly amusing as the family seems to be marching across the road

But, too much road on the foreground. Try to get the family to fill up about 1/3 of the frame. Or try to place your subjects on the guidelines like below.
Keep practicing.
