Hi all,

I would like to ask about the best option for wireless broadband to be used in my office.
I realise that wired ones such as streamyx (fibre is not available at my area) is more expensive for business premises, so I'm thinking to get a wireless one.
I have P1 unlimited plan 1mbps in my mind...however is there any other better options?

Thanks

If no Unifi, just stick with Streamyx. You get better speed than any wireless protocol technology smile.gif

Yup, no Unifi..but I'm afraid Streamyx (or any other fixed lined ISP) will force me to get the Business package.
Streamyx Home 1Mbps RM110, but Business one cost RM198..macam not worth it.

not that can't afford, just trying to save as much as possible, having the same thing for a different price just doesn't make good sense, that's why I'm looking for alternative

There is a difference between the Home and Business package.

Home package is based on best effort. Meaning if you subscribe for 1Mbps, your speed is not guaranteed at 1Mbps all the time since the 1Mbps trunk is shared among other users also. If many users used the trunk at the same time your speed may go do down (< 1Mbps). For business package, the speed is guaranteed at the speed you subscribed at any time. If you can prove it is slower, you should get a refund. This is what I know but get better explanation from the TM guys wink.gif

Oh... I also forgot to mention that you also get a fixed IP address if I'm not mistaken. The advantage for having this is that you can set up a server in your office that you can access from outside since your IP address is fixed. So if you forget a file while at customer's place you can just download it thumbup.gif
