Hope this thread is still active.

I got diagnosed with sleep apnea. ahi of 28.

ENTs pushed surgery over cpap but I’m using cpap now on trial for a month. It works BUT my symptoms are not typical Obstructive sleep apnea. I get a narrow throat feeling even while awake. Specially if I’m sitting down for long durations, traffic jam, a flight somewhere etc.

It got so bad that I had trouble breathing while getting a facial (Father’s Day present lol)

So this is where I’m exploring more surgical solutions. Any one has any recommendations on who to go to in KL? Reading up radio frequency ablation but don’t see it offered here. It’s one of the less brutal surgeries out there.

I don’t mind the CPAP but the day time symptoms are getting worse. I started keto and exercises over Ramadan till now. Dropped 3.8kgs and the symptoms are worsening. It’s driving me mad

Only go for surgery as a last resort. Its has lots of complications.

Exhaustion from over exercise can cause sleeping problems and sleep apnea. 3.8kg per month is a little too extreme a drop. Aim for 1kg per month, less carb (don't go keto).
