The pajero should be also fast. Maybe the pajero dont want give way. That stretch of the highway you can easily hit 150 to 180

Imagine how unstable Myvi is going at that speed, any small mistakes can easily upset the balance pretty badly.

Shouldnt perodua also need to look at their car again? car can speed up so fast with lack of braking system? And still the hot cake seller.

You have answered your question. People still buy it what?

As long as the public doesn't make noise about Myvi's safety, Perodua (or any car manufacturers) will continue with making profits by cutting cost on safety features on board.

But, anyhow, Myvi has never been tuned for motorsports, ever. It's a freaking passenger car. Period.

Even Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya don't condone street racing since 1990.

1. Street racing -> Cheap and endangering lives of the innocent, unpredictable traffic and driver skills.
2. Track racing -> Expensive but still dangerous, predictable traffic.

Most people prefer option #1

Normal. Last week I was driving at Besraya during traffic jam, this Myvi didn't check side mirror and make a lane change, causes an incoming motorbike to lose control and hit an innocent Almera from the back. The Myvi driver just fled the scene quickly.

Like I said Myvi when driven too fast is totally unstable. Even when you hold steering straight and tight, the Myvi chassis itself is so light that there's basically no more contact patch on the tires and easily drift away from its lane, like some people say, it's like riding a leaf.

If you can't even control the car properly, you are deserved to stay away from the car, what is not racing on public roads.

If you drive defensively, such tragedy can easily be avoided, but when you're racing another car, you are blinded by your ego.

Professional race drivers would try to avoid accidents as much as possible and working together as a team which includes R&D, service pit, mechanic, coaches to win in the safest possible environment.

Illegal street racers would have the wrong choice of cars for the wrong driving situations and roads, the wrong choice of modifications and would only think of gaining the lead and boast about their ego without caring about the lives of the innocent.

Looking at the video, the case is not as simple as thought. It could originally become an intimidation from the swarm of Myvi drivers.

NAHAS DUKE: Pemandu dibebaskan

QUOTE(6216 @ May 4 2015, 02:42 AM)
They never learn. On the way back from JB this evening, on the fast lane going at 130 in a long line of cars, this MyVi flashed at me as if I can go left. Then he swept left to the middle lane and hand to brake hard since there was a car there. Then swung to the left lane right in front of a bus and then took the e lane. Bloody pariah.
*
I accidentally read "handbrake", thought this fella wanna pull handbrake to drift or something.

I supposed it's a typo of "have" instead of "hand" right?

If I were you, I would just go to the left lane when it's safe. When you drive so fast past the speed limit and yet you still can get high beamed by the driver behind, this to me is something that's no longer normal. If the Myvi driver wanna commit suicide by driving at 180km/h, let him be.

The Home Minister has spoken:

To me, my stand is it doesn't matter which car you're driving, if you're driving dangerously and cause someone to die, you are wrong.

What if the accident was caused by a heavily modified BMW? VW? Civic? How would you respond to this scenario.

What if one of the FMC members suddenly have durian runtuh and bought a Golf and continue racing?

Does it mean a Golf GTi driving at blinding speed and tailgating people is perfectly fine because it's an expensive car? Or 2 GTR trying to zig zag each other on MRR2 and that is OK?

Adam and Jamie seriously have to test this Myth in the next season of Mythbusters:

"Can you get flung out of the car when wearing seatbelts when a car rollover?"
