Dashcams might exist in the perpertrator's side. still useless. Should've install cams on every 1km of the highway.
Perhaps if dashcam was already installed in the pajero, it would have recorded the events as to the collision and rollover which, is better than nothing at all. U see, those racing myvis made counter reports saying that the pajero switched lane abruptly. So how are we to know if they are speaking the truth? A video footage from the pajero dashcam would've shown if indeed the pajero did as reported.
Plus if there is dashcam on all those witnesseses car that happen to see the incident, the investigations by the police will be swift and easier, dont u think so? Rather than relying on just verbal claims of witness which, those myvi drivers can argue and dispute, a video evidence showing the real event would have shut down even the loudest critic, no?
So rather than expecting and demanding hiway operators to install cams that might will never happen, why not be proactive in defending yourselves by installing a dashcam yourself? As it is revealed earlier, there was no cam looking at the crash site at all, which is now hampering the investigation. Only have the cam footage at the toll plaza, showing all vehicles driven fast but no hard proof saying who langgar who.
