Hello guys,
I need some help here before I start build my own custom pc, actually I have low knowledge about pc,(but I know little)
So, i'm buying parts separately one by one(secondhand) from mudah,garagesale etc.

CPU
Processor: Intel i5 2500k (Already buy)
HDD: 1TB WD Blue (Already buy)
Motherboard: ASRock H61 Pro BTC (Not buy yet)
RAM: 8GB(2x4GB) kingston HyperX beast (2400MHZ) / KHX24C11T3K2/8X (Not buy yet)
PSU: Corsair VS Series VS550 Power Supply / or Cooler Master brand? (Not buy yet)
Casing Chassis: Armaggeddon Tomo T100 Chassis (Not buy yet)
Graphic Card : No budget, so use built-in atm.
DVD-ROM: use from old cpu.

so which you can see, I already bought processor and hdd, other parts I dont buy yet because I dont know it will be match with processor, ram etc. and because I dont know about that socket type, like 775, 1155, ddr etc.
So again guys, all parts above can I buy them and it will match perfectly? or I do need change some?

Thanks

Firstly, you post at the wrong place. Should post your inquiry here:
Lowyat.NET -> Computers -> Hardware -> [OFFICIAL]Rig Suggestion Q&A Thread

Copy all your question to there is better...

here are some changes i would make

-cut down on the ram. 4gb of kingston value ddr3 is more than enough for gaming, honestly performance ram really useless unless you're on a hardcore OC setup

and to finally not to be busybody, yes everything fits LOL

on i5 dedicated graphics, i doubt he'll play anything "new"

but yes, 8gb is the sweet spot and pls don't judge my library lol KF2 is brand spanking new and does fine with 4gb

It's not about new but it's about the game itself.

Yes, some games really don't need 8GB RAM.

Many games work fine with 4GB.

@mod-po, bugjet around 1.2k
@goldfries any suggestions? biggrin.gif
@leethengxian thanks for feedback but I got something to know,
first, that RAM I plan to buy, I cancel it because it 2400mhz, while my processor i5 2500k is support DDR3 1033/1333,
and my motherboard(plan to buy soon) support DDR3 1033/1333/1600.
So I if want to buy RAM, which one I should choose? 1333 or 1600?

thanks

all suggested is based on used price

mobo: any socket 1155 mobo range RM150-200 (*prefreable u find z77 chipset as u already get an OC cpu)
Ram: value ram 4GBx2 ~RM200
PSU: Any 500watt cooler master/antec/gigabyte/fsp brand <RM150 (preferably if u can find 600watt if u wanted to OC)
casing NEW Aerocool GT-advance RM109

so far below RM800

balance RM400 u can hunt for used HD7850/7870
or
cheaper used HD6950 for RM150

very nice info, im planning to change mobo to asrock z77 pro4-m, what do u think?
and again,
my processor only support 1033/1333 ddr3 ram, but motherboard can support 1033/1333/1600/++
so, I can use 1600 ? or stay 1333?

Get that asrock mobo,
but if u can find another z77 that is more feature is more prferred, but that pro4 already okay,

To b safe, take 1333, it wont affect much on gaming anyways, so no biggies whether how much the speed is
