i prefer sony...philips okay not bad..but my fav is toshiba for crt tv...

If you are playing console especially sony ones, its better to stick to sony crt tv, becoz the constrast and brightness is best for gaming.

Up to your eyes, bro. I'll tell you my experience (and you can also read this in the HDTV FAQ thread):
I'm using the previous Philips model with Pixel Plus 2. That image processing technology blows the Sony out of the water. However, I will admit that the Sony does a pretty good job, and supports 720p (which my Philips doesn't). My advice is bring your console over to the shop and let your eyes be the judge. |

I've got a Sony DB, and it's pretty good when paired with the PS2. It (PS2) doesn't look as good with a Pana though.
Like Lord_Ashe said, just bring your console over to the shop and test it out yourself. |
