Malaysian post, especially to international destinations is indeed expensive. Before 2 years ago, it was one of world's cheapest.Poslaju is not the only way. Other cheaper options are parcel or u can just send as normal mail for stuff less than 1kg.
The cheapest service is surface mail (by land n sea), if u don't mind it being slow (will take months to reach). Otherwise just use airmail (usually takes 2-3 weeks). For normal mail u can add RM4.60 for register+tracking.
