How recently, I am not sure when this all happened. I have a number of friends who was victims to this "contact-list" adding bots.

I personally feel, those who had this problem, tell us who added you in it, namely the msn address, and we others have chance to blacklist them in the future. What do you think?

Haha......i've experienced this one as well......chinese msn...at first i tot it was my friend o sumtin , after added instantly they spam me with url to visit.

Or automated spam bots where they could obtain our addresses via forum...

Obviously we need to be careful. LOL. Anybody with any address to share (as in blacklist of course,LOL)?

i accidentally clicked the lol this is cooled thing since my friend sent it to me..now my msn is infected with some kinda strange virus n everytime i used norton anti virus to delete it, it keeps coming back...
having that thing causes me to spam evey1 in my contact list with the lol this is cool thing

To all the forumers, please don't put your real email address in your profile, posts, or anything you can think of. Blogs and such. If you really want to put, make sure it's, say, abc[at]hotmail[dot]com

Or something relatively like that, you don't want to be a victim of spambots.
I tried it and it works.

I would usually authorise it and then wait for a while

It seems that those names are random with numbers.
I believe it's fake emails send by fake email emulators[a.k.a. Anonymous Email Sender].
