Item(s) conditions: Brand new. Open box for setup but found it is too bulky, wife doesn't like it cause not matching with living room furniture

yes, u can configure it as a repeater for 5GHz WiFi

You used to replace existing Unifi/Maxis router or as extender? Wondering if this works as Maxis Fibre router.

u can direcetly use this to replace your existing unifi or maxis wifi router since the configuration already have unifi and maxis setting preset

or u can use it as an extender as well

the manual is available here
