QUOTE(ichigo_6091 @ Apr 25 2015, 07:58 PM) Wadafak sudden cancellation of thirst 2015 for dunno what fak reason. lol technically, those are not EDM. They are just normal dance pop genre. GG la like this malaysian EDM scene. [attachmentid=4426073] If you want to see the real EDM, go to Creamfields. Also, Malaysian don't really know how to enjoy EDM. They just bang head, get wasted and pass out beside garbage can. |

Of all things you list two bands who haven't put out anything half-decent in over a decade. |

QUOTE(saintnotsinner @ Apr 25 2015, 07:23 PM) lol technically, those are not EDM. They are just normal dance pop genre. Nope, from a technical standpoint they are still under the EDM umbrella. Just a quick glance on the lineup and you can tell that it is.If you want to see the real EDM, go to Creamfields. Also, Malaysian don't really know how to enjoy EDM. They just bang head, get wasted and pass out beside garbage can. And yeah festivals are nothing more than just shindigs to celebrate drugs and stuff, kiddos dont give a toot about music when they reach the scene. |

am saddened that the #Thirst 2015 event cancelled due to some reasons. Malaysia entertainment industry really no hope.... Hope this will be lesson to other event organisers, make sure alll is approved without last minute rejection only promote this event.
Anyway, I can relate this to recent JAKIM rule.... now we know why Malaysia still stuck at developing country.... I really pity Tun Mahathir, who put so much effort to make his dream Vision 2020 success, only to be ruined by current government, Sorry Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad because of the current govt ruin your effort. |
