Project Crossfire :

Its my 1st time building an ATI based Crossfire rig here.
I didn't realize we need a "master card" how backdated am i .. lol


Here are the specs for the rig, be wowed .. cos I also can't afford such rigs ..

ok ..there has been many doubts of sound insulation ur system ..

As he came to collect earlier on 19th October evening, i turned off light, leaving dimm spot light ..

the moment i turn on the PC, he said, " WOW !! I've never seen anything like that"

guess he has never seen some UV stuffs in computer b4 ..

The all blue theme is his request .. so i do all blue

you put a layer of mesh on the side fans ? wont that clog all the airflow ?

really nice wiring, i just cant imagine if his PSU went dead and he has to redo all over again

You forgot to took the macro shots of the Dominator RAMS

The Dominators r in the pix above. Just that the optional super chun looking cooling fan module is not on it.

I really like the way those black insulating foam match with the black casing.

i love the blue uv effect. very very nice..

I supposed ianho would love to have a pic with those cooling fan module too

I just realised. Everything he ordered was an overkill...how come its using E6600??

may be not worth to get it since the price of a x6800 nearly can get 3pcs E6600

dude a lil suggestion...i think u shd put the 3 blue LED fans for the radiator as the side panel area is kinda transparent over there.... i shd look nice

the dominator looks so sexy

the insulators in the casing looks great to cover up the internal aluminium frame. the visual effect is almost the same with spraying the internal frame black

I think that is Superlon right? Will it make the in-case temp higher when full load?

But sor sure its quiet lo, great job!!

i have that black thingy as well, akasa brand.. well honestly i dont think in case temp increase much..

the rig has been picked up & gone already ...

its a pity i couldn't play around with the overclocking part and benchmark it . but wait for my quad sli !! that 1 will be interesting .. eager to know if the hoohaa of the useless quad is how true from the internet.


about heat issue with the sound insulating material, i've already put a screenshot on 1st page .... so u guys should judge from there & please put a full stop on this issue instead of keep on pondering about the heat issue .. lol

actually .. my gf helped me big time for all my casemodding jobs ..

infact, she sleeved most of the psu recently. cut the sound insulating materials to size, clean up, tidy up, etc.

i do the plannings, layouts & routing the she does the so call dirty works .. lol

quite proud to have a modder gf .. gonna show u guys some videos & pics of her work someday ..

hardware cost about RM 21k.

My service in my store, cooling, uv, decoration, etc. RM 2.3k

About the graphic card.... what it means by requested clock and memory speed?

besides why the card actual core and memory speed is lower than the specification but same as the requested clock....

i have the doubt as yesterday got myself HIS X1900XT 256mb and it has the same condition... even ATI Tools also show the current speed instead of the requested speed for core and memory....why why? normal conditon for X1900 series??
