^Is that the GC that you tested? well, you need to compare the 3Dmarks BEFORE you OC to really know whether you succeeded. No, it's not normal for 3DMark software to slowdown in the second run. Your GC memory may be suffering from overheating (but that's not a professional opinion, because you got a Zalman HSF attached).

Try testing it 3-4 times in a row and see if you continue to get the same results.

Oh and 8633 for 3DMark 05.. hmm. I got 8k results from my 3DMark 03 with my X800XT DDR1. Judging purely from that, I'd say that's pretty awesome. thumbup.gif (I think I'm wrong as someone already said you could do better) whistling.gif

thanks.. and is it normal for the 3d mark to go lagging on the second try? the first try is perfect.. but second try a bit lagging. the screen no problem.. no like black line crossing or pararell...

can someone guide me.. can tell whether is my OC a success? thanks  notworthy.gif

what do u mean the second try?
did u mean u run 3dmark the 2nd time after u got the score, or
did u mean the cpu test?

if it is the cpu test, then surely it is lagging as it purely use your cpu (not gpu) power for rendering.

correct me if i'm wrong.

7900GT = 3dmark05 = 8k? I think u're on the low side. My galaxy @default clock ( 450 / 1320 ) score around 9.5.

11 more points doesnt show any improvement. If its 111 marks then its something.

I think its your slow processor bottlenecking.....get a Core 2 Duo imo you will hit 9k + or even 10k if you OC
