Hi,
Thinking of buying this. I was a Chromecast user. I am used to sending my own Youtube account's content from my phone to the TV. I depend a lot on my account's Watch Later playlist.
So if I get the Mi Box, what is the best solution to achieve this please.
The Mi Box is not a receiver like Chromecast, is it? Can I just run the Youtube app from my phone and cast the screen to the Mi Box to have it mirrored on my TV?
Thanks.

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Dec 10 2015, 03:43 PM) U can just run youtube app directly from mibox, but however u cant sign-in youtube to check ur subscribed channels. Thanks for your comment but that don't serve my purpose. I think best for me is to mirror phone screen. Not sure how successful is that. Anyone tried this before? Otherwise I just watch Youtube on my tiny phone screen. Or I buy back Chromecast. Ish.

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Dec 10 2015, 04:00 PM) As mentioned, mibox youtube unable to sign-in (not rooted) so "watch later" will not work. The only solution is screencast your phone to mibox (same like casting to chromecast) or buy other android device that can sign-in youtube. Yup yup, thank you. I understand the Mi Box does not support Google account sign-in. So, the pre-installed Youtube app in the Mi Box is not useful to me. I won't be using it. So I guess, my real question is whether anyone tried the screen casting function of our phones to the Mi Box successfully. Did you try it on yours Wacky-Angel?
