Bought an official international mi box from Lazada.
But having problems with its wifi
Since I'm using smart dns, I need to set static ip with smart dns ip
But once I did a manual ip setup, it won't connect and shows wifi password not valid
No issues if I'm using dhcp
Anyone experience similar issues?

repeating my old question from many page back, anyone able to use manual IP for their MiBox?

mine is official MY set, whenever I tried the manual IP, it can't connect to my wifi
set back to dynamic, no issue connecting to the same wifi

i need manual IP for my smart DNS

how is that related to DHCP lease?
it's the mibox3 won't connect to my wifi when I set manual IP, saying password is wrong
when switch to DHCP, same password, no issue connecting

One way is to set the smart DNS IP in my router
but I don't need all my other devices on the smart DNS, as some sites won't load properly on smart DNS

I managed to sideload the latest APK, but when loading it's show the menu sideway, then just quit by itself

am using latest android TV 8

and also how you pin the sideloaded apps that's not in the playstore into the main menu? make it more easy accessible compared to access them from App in the setting menu?
