I vote for GT1

Review in cnx-software showed that some 4k videos cannot play as well as the gt1 it seems. Personally, i am going for the gt1 (octa core amlogic soc vs 6-core in the mibox).

The latest mibox US version got ethernet port?

anyone here using MiBox 5th or 6th gen? Do you face any issues playing 1080p h265 files?

Hrm.. not sure if the files I have are 8bit or 10bit though.. Can't seem to see it using MediaInfo.. any way i can check?

Thanks! Seems like my MediaInfo was a slightly outdated version..

Updated to the latest and able to see that my videos are in 8bit.. Means shouldn't have issues with the 6th gen..

Have been considering to upgrade my 3rd gen to the latest, or maybe to the minix.. just that the minix seems lower specced & more expensive..

Do I need Google Playstore to use apps like Kodi to watch HK dramas? In short, which apps/function requires Google Play Store?
