QUOTE(apalexar @ Nov 2 2020, 10:35 AM) this simple question, is diff based on ur need.u can simply google it https://www.dignited.com/66593/mi-tv-stick-...-right-for-you/ mi box s around rm220 mi stick around rm130 the only downside for mi stick, is lower RAM (1GB), no 4k( limit 1080p). hence cheaper price. apalexar liked this post

QUOTE(megahertz @ Nov 2 2020, 10:45 AM) this simple question, is diff based on ur need. Thanks, guess the 2 reasons lower RAM (1GB), no 4k( limit 1080p) are enough for me to go for Mi box u can simply google it https://www.dignited.com/66593/mi-tv-stick-...-right-for-you/ mi box s around rm220 mi stick around rm130 the only downside for mi stick, is lower RAM (1GB), no 4k( limit 1080p). hence cheaper price. |

QUOTE(apalexar @ Nov 2 2020, 10:51 AM) I have 2 mi box and 1 mi stick. The mi stick performs just as good as the mi box. I don’t notice any difference at all. And it’s so much more compact and just plugs in directly to the tv. Always remember certified android boxes are designed to run certified apps that are available only on the play store. All other side loaded apps will cause instability to your box and will cause your unit too be flagged for piracy. My cousin works in MCMC. Just because they keep quiet doesn’t mean they don’t know. You have been warned. And yes, even if you use a VPN they still know. Bear that in mind guys! This post has been edited by aceedburn: Nov 2 2020, 02:16 PM |

QUOTE(mazai5100 @ Nov 2 2020, 02:27 PM) People thought they use VPN they are being anonymous in the internet but sadly no. VPN is allowed by your ISP but then your ISP knows you are being routed to a VPN and eventually they know where is the source IP of the VPN connection. MCMC has all ISPs under their jurisdiction and can ask for any info whenever they want if they want. i would advice, if u guys didnt know, better dont give false info. - sideload should be fine, its just put some apks into another device that running diff OS ( mi box, mi stick both running android OS tv, not regular android like phone). the apps might be detect running in diff OS, and might be failed to run due compatibility issue. but how to flag as piracy when u just running some apps ? lol. u pirate the apps ? - just because ur cousin works in MCMC, doesn't mean u know everything. even ur cousin mybe dont know much. a good VPN provider will use huge range of IP. ISP mybe know the ip, the routing etc, but thats all. but the data inside mostly unreadable. now with advance encryption and wider range of key cipher in bits, more harder for the data to tapped into. |

QUOTE(moviefans25 @ Nov 4 2020, 10:44 AM) i am thinking the same question. But read some review said that Mi Stick tends to overheating and restarting. Not sure is it true. Can someone clarify this? I have both, no issues with mi stick. After recent software update its rock solid. moviefans25 liked this post

I'm using a wireless mouse with Mi Box and everything works fine until suddenly today, at the bottom half of the screen it doesn't recognise left click or scrolling. Right click is OK.
Anyone faced this issue before? |

QUOTE(city2014 @ Nov 11 2020, 06:31 PM) I'm also facing the same problem recently, bottom half of the screen cannot detect mouse clicks. I reset the box, it is back to normal but came back again after around 2 days. Then I reset again and it is OK. Still monitoring if it will come back. Does anyone have a solution? |
