Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has tried using WeTV app, iqiyi app or Mango TV app from playstore on Mi Box S? These apps are international versions and have some free TV shows/series we can watch now or pay for VIP access. Planning to get the box, but understand that since the box is running on Android TV, we will have to sideload the apps from the normal Android phone playstore. So not sure if the apps above will run or scale properly on Mi box with Android TV...when we maximize the video? ste0 liked this post

After updating my Mi Box S, now I can use the USB port for DAC. It frees up the optical input of my speaker for the TV, which I think won't have lip-sync latency issue.
I used to do optical out from the MiBoxS straight to the speakers so I can listen to Spotify with the TV off. Now I still can do it with the USB port to the speaker DAC. |
