use with hdmi splitter got-lah. not cucuk into mibox.

Why use splitter ye? Is it usb tuner?

Currently I'm using additional dvbt2 box to hdmi2 to watch tv channel. Too troublesome need to switch between hdmi1(mibox) to hdmi2(dvbt2) frequently.

EDIT: Found out this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPy6tX8iYBA it seems like possible. Just purchased one similar in shopee and will report back if it works with Mibox biggrin.gif

Yes it can. My TV is probably older...

Netflix playback resolution is not something we can control. It depends on network speed, which OCA, etc.

Good to know. I have slightly newer sony tv with android OS. Similar interface with mi box s. I know that we can't control Netflix resolution. But I'm able to see how much bitrate and resolution the tv is streaming using info button on sony's tv remote at least on the newer sony tv. Does mi box s have similar function?

If I remember correctly, if you plug in a physical wired/wireless keyboard on mibox and press f4, you can view similar information too

I just received my mi box. Setup was easy and able to stream Netflix. However using android keyboard Minix A2, I'm not able to trigger streaming bitrate info using the F4 button. Probably button mapping is a bit different for this keyboard as it using Fn. Using my naked eye, i guess should be 1080p. Checked with Analiti apps using 5ghz wifi connection, mi box manages to stream at 198Mbps from my 800Mbps unifi connection. Not bad IMHO, although I think it could better with the distance between the router and mi box around 3-4 feet, probably because of hardware limitation.

Android 9 Update is out for Mi Box S. Updated both my units and so far so good. The only thing that’s bugging me is the voice lag on bluetooth headphones. If there’s a way to solve that then no other issues thus far. I use bluetooth headphones when i watch at night in my bedroom so it’s a big deal for me though. Hope it gets fixed in an update soon.

Keep your hope.

Or swap that with a box and turn that into reality.
