I know how cast work and what it can do but the experience using directly from TV is far better than cast. Why cast not that famous especially that ultra edition because it is not cheap and that price you can get a better TV box.

I got few friends previously bought cast and now all using TV Box.

Life is better simplicity. and this is my own preferable.

Anyone able to use otg with mi box china version? Mine just play e sec and jump back to login screen.

*shrug* my parents already have troubles to actually use the tv itself (and I still don't understand why they buy it)
I don't want to further confuse them with another TV box
the main users using the chromecast would prolly be just my sister and I lol

Hi guys,

I have a mibox with downloaded app such as "mynewstmovie". It worked fine till recently I can play any on the movies mentioned there. The error given to me is "can't play this link".
Try to go back to the guy I bought the box, his kiosk always close.
I would like to ask some sifu's here how to correct the app I mentioned. Great-full if someone here can PM me some guidance...

my AstroGO was working fine prior to mibox firmware update. but after the update, now the app keeps crashing & restarting while loading video.
am using mouse to navigate the app, no issues prior to update. now the keyboard keeps popping up when opening/loading the app....need help here

Been using it a few weeks, and I find it IS slower than wifi. Suddenly when I watch Netflix in 1080p, there is lag in the middle of playback (not when starting a new video). I had no such problems on wifi. This was happening maybe 2-3 times a day for the past few weeks.

Now switched back to wifi, Netflix playback is smooth...

I'm wondering anyone here tried the official Xiaomi USB to RJ45 converter and is it any better? Seems like such a waste to use wifi when I've wired my house with CAT6A...

I admit that sometime there will be a time that even netflix will froze for awhile.
Since, its not a major problem, then will give it more time for monitoring.

Yes, no extra USB. Even the UGreen model that I bought also is without extra USB as I don't need it. I either stream from internet or stream from my NAS.

I do plan to get a Bluetooth keyboard, but don't know when coz so far the voice input is quite good.
