Bought an official international mi box from Lazada.
But having problems with its wifi
Since I'm using smart dns, I need to set static ip with smart dns ip
But once I did a manual ip setup, it won't connect and shows wifi password not valid
No issues if I'm using dhcp
Anyone experience similar issues?

Hi,

Only Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin and another(forget the name) are there. You can't select english on the list.

So I select Hindi and it works fine.

May I know where did you get the Private Internet Access?
What is the name of the subscription and where to get it?

Yes, still using - PIA Yearly Package
(because more servers located in the US and secure)
Purevpn(1+1 Years package) still active but no longer using(Slow speed, Huge security leaks)

im curious on the same thing as well, in order to fully utilize the mibox.


after that you just install their app and click and set to go? you mentioned that more servers located in US, does that mean china content can watch ornot?

I'm planning to buy either xiaomi box international or xiaomi box 3 enhanced version. Need guidance on buying between these two.

Any limitations on international version? Can I root it?
I only need it mainly for YouTube and myiptv.

Can I change the display language of international version box to Chinese? This box is mainly for my parents to use it.

I do not watch China's content much. So I can't help. But I can suggest you visit this site,
New TV Box SG.There is a huge Community over there watching China contents.
You can get some useful tips there. a very mutual group there. Hope this help.

wanna ask how to navigate in Astro Go?? i can't seem to scroll down..

U need to use it in landscape mode, to do so, simply go to Google Play download any set orientation app or sideload.

i already have the app installed... but still unable to scroll down..even with the mouse toggle app.. i still can't scroll down ...
do you guys using a mouse on the mibox? can i know what brand and where to get it.. thanks.

I am using mX3 mouse. I learn that I need to press ok button at the same time move the control down.
It worok for me.

for mi box 4k international version, i already installed aotg with correct orientation, however i cannot seem to get screen full display to fill my tc screen. there is a big gap on both right and left hand of it when ai choose any chnanel.

any idea how to make it full size horizontal.
