hi guys i just bought myself a mi box...

setup everything fine... i noticed my remote control doesn't work in iflix or something.

i searched here and i saw someone mentioned use mouse, i tried and it works. thanks.

but any ways to configure to use the remote for it?

iFlix is not a tv app so remote won't work on it. Only official android tv apps will work with remote.

because I can also used it on Raspberry Pi3.

I have to assumed that you are using ac router.
Before this do you have this problem or the 1st time?

I m new to android box but want to get some information from you guys.

I am planning to go for MI box and looks like there are many versions on le long. Really confusing. Some says Chinese rooted jailbreak etc. Really confusing to which one to go for.

If I buy the original MI box from Lazada which is around 380 rm, can I install all the add on on kodi? I don't mind doing manually. There are tons on videos on YouTube. What does it exactly mean by rooted and jailbreak. Just adding these softwares preloaded?

Also if I just buy original one will it have playstore and English?, Pls help

just buy from LAZADA which price is RM349, fullfill by DirectD if im not mistaken. It is international version already.

Guys, have google around but didn't find any answer for this. Can 2 xiaomi wireless bluetooth game controller connects to mi box and play multi player game (local)? Currently I'm using 1 game controller and the remote control to play air strike but as you know, the mi remote controller is not so flexible. Anyone tested on this before?

My mi mini tx box lately got issue to access HDTV.
Showing error page and to check with connectivity issue.
Was working fine 1 month ago.
Anyone here have any idea, i could get this fix? Uninstall and reinstall also cant access to login HDTV page but getting error page.

Other app on my mi tv box doesn't encounter connectivity issues. Contacted HDTV seller also got no idea why...

you are using mikrotik router which I think is a 802.11bgn router.
I can't even use my asus rt-n66u for my video playback wirelessly.
Now using Lan.
to solve your problem,I suggest getting an external USB 3.0 storage if lan
cabling is a problem to you.
