There was a joke my family doctor told me:

BOSS: *Making call to male employee* Eh, why never come office?
Male employee: Sorry boss, in hospital now. Got dengue fever; very high, need to stay and take MC.
BOSS: Cannot. I need you. Make sure you come to office tomorrow. *Puts down phone*
*knock on door* *female employee comes in*
Female employee: Boss, very sorry for doing the assignment very late. I couldn't sleep very well last night because of the fluid discharge very strong and dr....
Boss: *interrupts* Enough. Go take MC and go home!

Seriously enough; I've seen this happen in real life. heh. Sadly, very often. hehehe.
