One of the twin brother from Everybody Loves Raymond sitcom has reportedly committed suicide weeks before his 20th birthday, according to several foreign news agencies.

Hollywood Reporter reports that Sawyer Sweeten, 19, who plays the role of Geoffrey Barone during the CBS series, aired from 1996-2005, was believed to have shot himself on the front porch of his house yesterday.

The report quotes his manager Dino May on the news.

Fans of family-oriented sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond starring Ray Romano would remember the cute twins who took on the role of Romano and Patricia Heaton’s twin sons.

Sweeten and his brother Sullivan Sweeten literally spent their childhood onscreen, as Ray Romano’s twins, after debuting in the show when they were barely a year and a half.

TMZ reports that Sweeten’s older sister Madilyn who played the actual role of the twins older sister on the show, was quoted by TMZ as saying: “This morning a terrible family tragedy occurred. We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend took his own life.”
