i see the t&c mention after the 3gb usage, data is charge as pay per use at 50 sen for 20mb.

This may be an issue if user forgot to topup internet data, and proceed to use the data. Potential high bill unless they throttle the speed and allow user to topup once speed is throttled.
*
I was told that before it goes PAYG one SMS will inform you to proceed or not. So no worry about bill shocker.

Celcom confirms that Basic 38 you will not be charged 50 sen/50kb. You only get throttled down.

Annoying..

No. I downgrade my P48 + mAdvanced plan. No issue whatsoever.

I did it at Jalan Ampang branch.
*
That was yesterday. They got the memo LAST NIGHT that such thing cannot be done.

Well fucuk. Its confirmed that Basic RM38 is only for new customer or if you port in.

Apparently not all sites are aware of this.

have you gone to celcom centre? or you just talk to their unreliable customer service?

one thing i hate about celcom is that their call centre is unreliable, one csa says something else another says something else.
*
I did.

1. Went to celcom centre, they say cannot convert postpaid to another postpaid plan.
2. Contact celcom, lady said can be done.
3. Few minutes later, celcom lady call said it cannot be done.

Damn confusing .

maybe need to terminate plan (pay quit penalty) and register new plan...

other telcos also the same if change plan, only difference how much the termination fee they charge you...
*
Penalty for what? I am not even on contract anymore.

Maybe better just to get new number.

1GB - RM15

5GB - RM50

Btw no one buat aduan coz Celcom throttle the LTE speed to 5-6 Mbps? Not stated in T&C got throttle speed
*
Maybe coz many still happy with Basic 38. If people complain takut Celcom will scrap the plan, increase price or kill the plan.

well I worry the mobile internet connection will be sux due to many people use it, or celcom will throttle our speed due to the cheap price.
*
Only throttling is when you hit the 3GB limit.

Now plan is LTE uncapped. Any other plan can beat Basic 38?
