QUOTE(gtfan @ Apr 23 2015, 01:25 PM) i see the t&c mention after the 3gb usage, data is charge as pay per use at 50 sen for 20mb. I was told that before it goes PAYG one SMS will inform you to proceed or not. So no worry about bill shocker. This may be an issue if user forgot to topup internet data, and proceed to use the data. Potential high bill unless they throttle the speed and allow user to topup once speed is throttled. |

Celcom confirms that Basic 38 you will not be charged 50 sen/50kb. You only get throttled down.

Apparently not all sites are aware of this. |

QUOTE(samuraikacang @ Apr 24 2015, 02:23 PM) have you gone to celcom centre? or you just talk to their unreliable customer service? I did.one thing i hate about celcom is that their call centre is unreliable, one csa says something else another says something else. 1. Went to celcom centre, they say cannot convert postpaid to another postpaid plan. 2. Contact celcom, lady said can be done. 3. Few minutes later, celcom lady call said it cannot be done. Damn confusing . |

QUOTE(Toyoi @ Apr 24 2015, 03:24 PM) maybe need to terminate plan (pay quit penalty) and register new plan... Penalty for what? I am not even on contract anymore. other telcos also the same if change plan, only difference how much the termination fee they charge you... Maybe better just to get new number. |
