QUOTE(vostro78 @ Apr 28 2015, 07:23 PM) u need to call customer service ask for a reason first. did u still owe other telco money until u cant port over to celcom, mayb digi / umobile ? I have paid all the overdue and before porting to blue telco, i just called them and ask if still have any overdue and not. Other telco, it just prepaid number.. guess it won't affect the porting process Anyway, they just released my number and terminated the sim card at 4pm.. Good bye to green telco and hello to blue telco |

QUOTE(spikey2506 @ Apr 24 2015, 08:18 PM) Went to a dealer just now,Blue Box outlet. Wanted to convert my prepaid to postpaid. They say unable. They received an email saying only to reg new numbers for the 38 package. Wasted my time only. Should have gone straight to Celcom branch. I went to two outlets, both said can't. So frustrating. Called celcom customer service, chatted with celcom customer service, both said can. Reach outlet, all say cannot. |

Just filled my complaint to SKMM, wondering are they doing their work!
Still not even to port in after no commitment, no contract, no outstanding! Must be bullshit! This post has been edited by alexleow81: Apr 28 2015, 10:12 PM |

i signed up for this plan over the weekend and I can't get LTE signal - so I went and checked my sim card - it says 3G on the card, do i need to change the sim or change my APN? I know previously for my Maxis, I had to change my 3g sim to 4g sim

kudos for celcom coming out with this plan, even after the promo ends 2gb + 2gb wifi i think it is a good deal at rm 38. Hopefully they will iron out the speed issue soon.

Received a call from blue telco CS yesterday after I filed a report on their OCS. The CS asked the locations and devices I run the speedtest, and he confirmed that there's no speed capped for First 38. He also agreed that once inside 4G coverage the reasonable speed should be 18Mbps+. The ticket is pending for other level of support.

QUOTE(karheng @ Apr 28 2015, 10:58 AM) Just change my first one 68 to first basic 38 on last Sunday at blue cube @ The Gardens. It seems the Download speed is throttle perhaps..This is to answer some questions. 1. celcom 68 postpaid to this 38, no problem. I did it. 2. How long to process register/mnp? mine was 68 postpaid, from i take the q number, until paid the 1 month upfront, it take 20-30mins. Then 10 min later i received sms saying that the plan has been changed successfully. * few months ago i did MNP from U mobile prepaid to postpaid 68, @Mid Valley, the whole process also take 30 mins. 3. How much you need to pay? RM40.30 after GST (RM38+6%=RM40.28) My statement date is 24 every month, so last Sunday was 26/4, so the RM40.30 now direct pay to the account, they don't ask me to settle RM68 together with this upfront. So it is mean it is RM40.30 is not " LOCK" to the account like deposit. 4. LTE speed I will find some place near my area to show you all. For now my speedtest is around 3-5Mbps. Before this? Not sure, maybe faster. So far satisfied with it because celcom still wider coverage if I travel outstation if compare to other telco. But i believe every telco got their disadvantage. [attachmentid=4429269] USJ 21 , 12pm 28/4/2015 5. 1+5 sup line beware of the 500MB data, after finish quota is PAYU. 6. Max up 5GB @ RM50 still the cheapest add on quota so far. If you ask me, want faster speed or more quota, my answer is both. But if you ask me, pay RM68/3GB@20Mbps LTE speed, or RM38/3GB@5Mbps LTE speed? I choose RM38. The upload speed is still LTE speed.. 3G could never go up that high.. |

They are indeed capping it I think. Although they don't admit it or the CS is clueless. We should all file a report attaching the speedtest result
