Went to Celcom Centre Taman Tun Dr Ismail today wanted to do the following:

1.) Change billing date to synchronize my 2 numbers that just ported in last month
2.) Terminate my existing prepaid number ( use 5 yrs back and expiry ady 4 years back)

This is the outcome!

1.) The CS in front of the welcoming door told me you could not change the billing date. It's fixed by Celcom. I called customer service and they say can change but need to go Celcom Centre. I was like WHAT!!!!!! OK fine!

2.) The CS in front of the welcoming door told me that I cannot terminate my prepaid number as it will expire by itself. I told her that my number is already not in use for 4 yrs but I am still able to see my account since she say by 60 days the number if still not active, will be terminated! OH NO! Earlier why ady 4 yrs still active the number?  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Overall, Celcom Customer Service is the worst among all telcos at the moment. To be frank, Maxis CS is much better than Celcom in this way. Sorry Digi, UMobile belum try lagi!

Anyway, the 2 problems does not bother me too much but still if these cannot be done, the Customer Service (Phone) must inform to its customers rather than wasting time walking in to Celcom Centre and can't do anything! You know what I am saying!  whistling.gif  whistling.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

agreed. i faced a problem of creating my ocs account cos tied up with my old number still.
but everytime i call them up, is the same answer given. report had been filed, normally will take 24 hours up to a maximum of 3 days. hello!!! is 3 weeks and the same answer is given. then blame the IT department.

i email them too hopefully someone higher up will resolve this issue.

My billing cycle is on the 24th of each month. Will take how long for me to receive via email my billing information?

Sorry unable to create online account at celcom. Problem because of my IC still tied to my old celcom number terminated last year. So the only way is to wait for the bill.

hi all,..
i already apply main line for 1st basic 38.
may i apply another 1st basic 38 as supp line?

thanks...
*
yes but the supp line plan not attractive. no 3GB data. i think only 500mb.
i suggest to take main first basic 38 also for your other number.

I heard that RM48 which got additional with free movie passes.. and discount for phone contract too!?
*
not worth getting. tied you down with contract and giving you lousy basic phone.
better walk as a free man and paying only RM38 monthly.

I just found out that Celcom 4g isn't actually free. It's only free till December 2015. Then it's rm10 per month sad.gif
I just hope they change their policy by then though.

Compared to maxis,  I THINK it's free for all 3g users.
*
We just MNP again if Celcom charges for 4G. Easy.

Those who need more talk time minutes can opt for latest Xpax Magic Sim.
It's a prepaid sim with free basic free internet similar to that of #hotlink as long as your line is active.
Can subscribe to various internet plans tailor to your needs.
Eg, Rm38 plan gets 2GB+2GB data and Wifi, 150min talk time and sms (better that basic38).
No monthly commitment like postpaid.
Can carry forward unused data up to 2GB if you auto renew the plan.

wow. how on earth prepaid plan is even better than postpaid?
what's the catch?

Didn't find any catch. Those who wish to exchange 1GB data with extra 100min talk time and sms, prepaid is better. Some more call rate after quota is cheaper at 12sen/min
*
okay why didnt magic sim come out first before this basic 38 thing. can celcom postpaid change to prepaid? or need to MNP out to other telco first? and MNP in again?

by the way, the free calls only for on net which is celcom to celcom. still better than basic 38. each time reloading, you will also receive free data, calls and sms.

Hi,

Just want know know whether they will mail the billing to home? Or have to online check and go pay the bill?

Thanks
*
online register a customer service account. you are able to view your account information there.
payment can also be done via your online account.
bills will only be available 8 days after your billing cycle of that month.
