Can any one tell me . I bought nikond d7100 with kit lens 18-140mm but the lens is in White box.

Is the lens is new and original

any idea.

Seperate white box sounds like a new original grey good.

Its original but usually only comes with 1 year warranty provided by the shop you bought it from. You usually can't claim warranty straight at Nikon service centers.

Oh my god the guy told me it is having international warranty .

Also body has malysian warranty ..

The white box is from kit, the one with body and lens combo. Some people want the body only so the seller take out the lens from kit to sell. The lens should be original unless the seller do sell grey import then kena confirm with them

I have no experience dealing with them though. That 18-140mm do come with warranty slip right? If it says nikon malaysia warranty means its malaysia warranty, if nikon HK or somewhere else then its grey import lor.

Someone say nikon lenses are cover internationally, not too sure.

Thanks I got one nikon malaysian warranty card. Got only one card . I think this is for body and not for lens

it should comes with separate warranty card.. one for body and one for the lens... if u buy the camera with the kit lens set, yes u will get that white box.. inside the camera box

I got only one warranty card but I checked only Lens details are mentioned on warranty card . not body they cheated me

The body also should has the warranty card. If not, how to claim warranty...

isnt it if buy those camera with kit lens,
the warranty card description has both written,
BODY WITH KIT LENS with both serial number?...
in 1 single warranty card?

On my Nikon D750 official set there are 2 cards.
1. D750 - Service Warranty
2. 24-120 - Worldwide Service Warranty

If there are 2 cards there, your unit is fine and you shouldn't need to worry about it.

I got only one Malaysian warranty card It only has lens serial no
Got Shopkeeper Bill It has both serial number body and lens . But there is not body serial number on Nikon Malaysian warranty card
